Who am I?

I'm Gabriele Gargiulo – a director, performer, actor, light designer, and theatre educator based in Italy.

My work blends multiple stage languages: spoken theatre, live music, dance, shadows, projections, objects, light, and digital experimentation.
I draw from a wide multidisciplinary background in musical theatre, directing, pedagogy, light and sound design, performance studies, and physical theatre.

What inspires me most is creating inclusive, emotionally powerful performances that can reach audiences of all kinds — across age, ability, and context.
I direct and perform in productions for both professional companies and educational contexts, always seeking new forms of storytelling that are poetic, bold, and resonant.

For me, theatre is a living space: a place where movement, image and sound become bridges between people.
